I was a kid and for years we thought my friend's mom set this up with friends in order to scare a couple of kids. Turns out that wasn't true.
It was my friend's like 7 or 8th birthday and her mom had crammed us all in the car to go drive by the Henry Clay house for a spooky look at the house at night. Parked out front we all sat looking around when we saw them. I first noticed a woman dressed in period clothing w a large bell-like dress and some sort of bonnet and then a man with what looked like a suit. Aside from their attire there was an issue, they were completely black. Not just black, like the complete absent of color and light. There are street lights etc. And those lights did not effect these people or things as they walked across the side of the Henry Clay house toward the gardens in the back. I am 32 now and still remember it like it was yesterday.

I worked at UK medical center about 40 years ago. I lived close to The Clay house and would walk over and sometimes climb a fence frequently to sit and relax ,dose and read a book. Nothing supernatural at all. Just a lovely old house.
I love the grounds and house. I gave it a 1 because nothing supernatural in my experience.
