My nephew is 10 years old and had never been to any haunted houses or anything scary before. He's a chicken really lol But he loved the haunted barn. I didn't tell him before taking him so he was a little scared at first when we arrived. It's not too scary for younger kids. It has some jump scares but nothing major. I screamed a couple times myself coming around the corners where the actors would jump out at you. It doesnt take long to go through. Maybe a minute and a half. But I think that's a good amount of time for kids. It was such a fun time. I highly recommend for first timers. We'll definitely be back!
