Cumberland Falls State Resort Park
Corbin, KY 40701
Legend around this area involves a bride and groom who were on their honeymoon in the 1950s. The bride fell from the cliff after losing her balance, and the spot is now called Lovers Leap. Drivers claim to have hit a woman in a wedding dress, but when they got out to look for her, she was nowhere to be found.

Me and my buddy was there one night and seen a white figure on one of the benches slouched over, and one of my other buddies was just there last night and has a pic of a woman in a white dress.

Like others who has commented I live here in Corbin, and can honestly say the way to the falls on a cold Foggy night while winding around the very curvy rd to the falls or crossing the bridge after the falls with a new moon and fog, Makes you feel like your in a haunted forest as the trees look like they are alive and sometimes I've sworn to see shadows or something go across the rd in front of my Suv, and know it wasn't a deer, but silently tell myself it was and make myself believe it. I have also seen a woman sitting on the steps going down the side part towards the bottom lookout, and when turning around after walking past, she was gone. I'm not sure if she just walked very fast and somehow I missed her, even though the walkway is straight for a min before you can go up the steps to go away from there, so she would've had to run fast. But no one else that was with me saw anyone but me till we got to the bottom or second lookout, so idk why I seen her alone. She was just there then gone.
During the day though Cumberland Falls is a gorgeous place to hike, picnic, and just visit, even night while in the park is beautiful bc of the moonbow and you can find many things to do around the falls as well.. Kayaking, white water rafting, ride the tour boat for day trips or even I think moonbow trips.

I am from Corbin. The other review about the fog & feeling as if the trees are closing in on u are absolutely 100% spot on. The fog is so dense that it seems as if your headlights are reflecting off of a milky mirror & that's when it looks as of the trees are bowing over to swallow u up. However, during the day & the not foggy nights, the area is beautiful & if it isn't crowded, can be the most serene place you van imagine. Our Moonbow, the last Moonbow in the world since the earthquake in Africa that shifted a rock at Angel Falls, is a beautiful sight. Be there early though bc tourists from all over crowd in & there are so many u can't get close enough to see it. If you're looking 4 eerie then wait 4 a foggy, moonless night. Then take a drive over the bridge. The area past the bridge is what always scared me

I am from Corbin, where the falls is located. I have been there numerous times, both at night & during the day. It is absolutely gorgeous, especially getting to see the worlds only Moonbow. At night, it isn't the falls that scary, it's driving through fog so thick your headlights reflect off it, you can't see anything in front of you. That coupled with the trees looking like they're closing in on you, leads to a creepy, yet unparanormal experience
