This restaurant closed around 2010 and is now called Shandies. The building is believed to be haunted by the spirit of Stella Cohen Peine, the last member of the Cohen family who died in her upstairs apartment. Eerie occurrences here include chairs that move on their own, salt and pepper shakers that fall over, lights flicker, and movements appear in reflections. Some say that pictures taken outside the building sometimes show a woman peeking out of an upstairs window, although that room is only used for storage.

I’m a paranormal researcher, and my crew and I were fortunate to have been allowed inside the property to hunt! Captured lots of great EVPs and had lots of interesting experiences!

Was told to go to a different restaurant. But ended up here. Couldn’t be more pleased. Waitress was informant and extremely pleasant. Food was very good. Will definitely return.
