Trunnell’s Family Fun Acre and Farm Market is dedicated to providing your family with the absolute freshest grown Kentucky products and the best farm family fun.
Trunnell's Family Fun-Acre includes activities to keep active toddlers happy, school-aged youngsters intrigued, and adults amazed. We don't feel we've had a good harvest unless every family leaves with smiles on their faces, pleasant farm memories in their heads, and a little dirt in their shoes! Our fall activities includes :
Giant Corn Maze: Join us for a cornfield adventure (available in the fall season only)! Navigate your way through a 4-acre maze with Farm Scene Investigation along the way.
Mini Maze with Spookley: Little ones and their family will also have a Farm-tastic time finding their way through the Mini Corn Maze. They will learn about "Spookley" the Square Pumpkin along the way! Spookley is a unique pumpkin that delivers a special message of tolerance and kindness that is just right for October's Bullying Prevention Month.
Jumping Pillow: Kids and adults alike can enjoy this one-of-a-kind bouncing experience on our huge bounce pillow! Unlimited Jumping Pillow sessions included with all Fall Admission Ticket Options.
Wagon Rides: Hop aboard the Fall Harvest Wagon Ride! The Wagon Ride will tour our real working farm during the harvesting season and stop at the Pumpkin Patch. Wagon Rides are offered every weekend in October. Wagon Rides included with all Fall Admission Ticket Options.
Pumpkin Patch: As part of a Fall Harvest Wagon Ride, you'll get to stop at the Trunnell's Pumpkin Patch. Each person will have an opportunity to pick a pumpkin for the cost of the pumpkin. If you opt to pick a pumpkin, any pumpkins will be paid for at the Farm Market after the Wagon Ride.
Independence Mining Co. Mining Sluice: We've built a mining sluice for visitors to have the old-time panning-for-gold experience. Students empty their bags in a screen-bottom box, 'sluice' it in the water flume and the dirt washes away to reveal their gems, fossils, or arrowheads. An additional fee applies.
Duck Races: Old time hand water pumps powered by you will determine whose duck makes it to the finish line first. Kids and Adults love playing with water and watching it pour out of the pumps by their own hands.
H&R Agripower Case IH Pedal Tractors: Built strong enough for the mature "farmers" in your group. The track allows you to test your driving and pedaling skills while having loads of fun with your family and friends. Only farmers that are taller than 36 inches allowed on this track.
Lil' Farmer Pedal Trikes: Perfect for your shorter lil' "farmers." This track has the same exciting turns and curves as the big track just on a smaller scale. Since you have to be less than 36 inches tall to be on this track there is no worry of getting run over by big brother or sister.
Horse Rides: Take a ride around the farm on one of our beautiful horses. An additional fee applies.
Animal Barnyard: Come visit and pet our animals! Our animals are friendly and fun to observe. Our barnyard includes rabbits, pigs, goats, ducks, chickens, and a baby calf.
Rope Maze: This Rope Maze is a Puzzle Maze that challenges your brain and body. To reach the dinner bell in the center of the Maze, you make a choice to turn right or left at each rope you run into, make the incorrect choice and you have to start over. The younger kids will simply love running through and ringing the bell.
Spider Web: It's okay to get caught in this web! Climb around on the 20ft wide rope spider web!
Hay Jump: Test your ability while jumping from hay bale to hay bale.
Playground: Younger visitors can play to their heart's content in our playground area.
Trunnell Tunnel Crawl: 2-20' long 36" diameter tubes give your child the feeling of being inside a tunnel. The light at the end will give them a feeling of accomplishment
Super Corn Slider: Climb up and ride down our giant slide!
Corn Hole: Test your skill when you take your turn trying to toss corn bags (bags filled with corn feed) into our corn hole!
Korny Korn Crib: Our farm version of a sand pit. The Corn Pit allows sensory play and encourages discovery by replacing sand from the traditional sand box with corn kernels! More fun and less mess! Kids can "get in touch with their food."
Farm Grille: Enjoy delicious snacks and drinks from our concession stand!
Picnic Area: Enjoy our picnic area while you take time to relax and refuel between activities. Picnic tables are provided for your convenience and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Bonfire Pits: Bring your group at night and enjoy your own private bonfire. After you finish the maze and enjoying our other attractions, relax out by the campfire in the country. A campfire in the fall is a great way to spend an evening or warm up on a cool night.
