Jailer's Inn Bed and Breakfast

This bed and breakfast once operated as a jail and housed prisoners from 1797 to 1987. It was Kentucky's oldest operating jail complex, and was listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. Some believe the spirits of prisoners linger here, and witnesses have reported hearing disembodied footsteps and people crying.

My daughter and I spent a night here in the one actual jail cell that has been transformed into a room. As guests, we were free to roam around and do all the investigating that we wanted. Caught several EVP's with one in particular whispering "That is something" when I asked it to speak into my recorder. Definitely will return, and not just to investigate. It's a great place to stay for the history, the friendly staff, and great breakfast.

My cousins and I went to stay here for the night to do a mini investigation. We stayed in the newer part to the side of the main house. It was super clean, AMAZING breakfast, and such kind staff. Since we stayed in the room not connected to the main building we were able to get a key to the main house so that we could go through and get to the jail cells and were allowed to do this through the night. The next morning once everyone had checked out we were allowed to go through the house to each room and read from the experience books people wrote in. It was a great experience for those who like paranormal activity and are starting your journey in investigating.
