This historic tavern dates back to 1812 and is believed to be one of Kentucky's haunted spots. It once operated as a stage shop for cattle drovers and American Indians. People who have restored the building have reported seeing apparitions of Confederate soldiers, African American slaves, and children wandering around both the grounds and indoors. Footsteps, strange music and shouting voices have also been heard, and doors are known to open and close on their own.
